These antigen (AG) tests are used where an early and rapid first statement about an infection is required.

Sienna™ COVID-19 Antigen Rapid Test
Elbadawi & Co. recommends as solution the Sienna™ COVID-19 antigen rapid test, listed at the Federal Institute for Drugs and Medicine Products (BfArM).
Easy handling and a result after 10 minutes characterize the rapid test. The time saving is also in the execution. The extraction tubes are already filled. There is no separate buffer solution.

- take a nasal swab
- incubate extraction tubes prefilled swabs in the
- add three drops of buffer into the test cassette opening

SARS-CoV-2 "mutation" detection. British version B.1.1.7 (D3L + S235F + RG203KR, South African version B.1. .351 (T205I),RG203KR, S197L, RG203KR + 1292T, P13L, S202N, S1973KR + P13L, RG203KR + D103Y, A220V, S194L, A208G, RG203KR + K375N, D3L mutations were also tested.
The results showed that the product detected these mutant antigens in the same way as the original virus strain.
